Project Julie has grown out my children’s memories of the Flemish TINY-books (MARTINE in French, authors Gilbert Delahaye & Marcel Marlier ). These books were - normally - only read by girls…but I secretly read then all 1000x times and enjoy the adventures. Julies paintings show sometimes a frail woman body, but strong character, ready to fight.
